 Young women ages 13 – 18 years old from OKC metro or rural areas

Oklahoma Women in Technology’s Spring Retreat provides an opportunity for young women, who are interested in discovering different companies and their technology, the chance to engage with women who currently work in technology in the state of Oklahoma. This event is best for young women ages 13 years to 18. Attendees are welcome to join either with a school group or individually. There is no cost to attend.

REGISTRATION

Registration for our Spring Retreat will go live in early Spring of 2019. Space will be limited, and registrations are accepted on a first come basis and are required. Groups larger than 15 participants much register via the OKWIT Spring Retreat Chair, email info@okwit.org for their contact information. Here’s what our 2018 Spring Retreat Schedule looked like … 

7:45 a.m.
Check-In, Breakfast & Welcome Activities

8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Data Center and Lab Tours, Presentations, Q&As
Attendees were able to tour multiple technology data centers and labs and met with technologists from a variety of tech fields.

11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Panel of Technologists, Lunch, Raffle Prizes, and Q&As
Attendees enjoyed lunch and listened to a panel of technologists on a variety of topics. The event closed with open Q&A and Raffle Prize Drawings.
