This August, join us and keynote speaker, Dr. Meg Myers Morgan.

Dr. Morgan’s talk examines how negotiating skills are crucial to getting what you want in life and work. And as she argues, negotiating isn’t haggling for more money; it’s a skill that forces you to have clarity and confidence in what you want. Using research, personal experiences, case studies, and laugh-out-loud commentary, Meg’s insights provide essential strategies that help propel women in their careers while empowering them to successfully negotiate all aspects of their lives. Ultimately, this relatable, funny, and motivating talk explores the many ways in which we as professionals hold ourselves back and how we can negotiate for more.

Dr. Meg Myers Morgan is an award-winning author, college professor, keynote speaker, and certified executive coach. Her latest book, Everything is Negotiable (Seal Press, 2018), is a best-seller and has now been translated in multiple languages. Meg gave a TED Talk, “Negotiating for Your Life”, for TEDxOU in 2016. Her collection of essays, Harebrained, won the gold medal for humor from the Independent Publishers Book Awards (2015). Meg is certified in Executive and Leadership Coaching from Columbia University and holds a PhD and an MPA from the University of Oklahoma. She is an assistant professor at the University of Oklahoma and leads the graduate programs in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management on the OU-Tulsa campus. She served as the president for YWCA of Tulsa’s Board of Directors, and is currently the vice chair for the Tulsa Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women. She was honored as a 2018 Distinguished Alumni from Drury University.
