What: EPSCoR Women in Science Conference When: October 23, 2018 from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm Where: Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City Girl Scouts Western Oklahoma needs your help! Our STEM Coordinator, Sara Wilkins, is presenting an astronomy-themed activity booth at the annual EPSCoR Women in Science Conference this October. There will be around 1,650 6th – 12th grade girls in attendance who are excited to learn about STEM. No astronomy or STEM experience is required! We offer volunteers the opportunity to donate at least 2 hours of their time. Of course, you are more than welcome to stay all day! Entrance to the Museum the day of the event, breakfast pastries & coffee, and a box lunch w/beverage are provided to all registered booth participants free of charge. Please let us know if you want to participate by September 14, 2018 so we are able to get you registered for the event.
