The Senior Oracle Developer is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of modules within the Oracle ERP software suite. The Senior ERP Developer will lead and mentor group of developers with end-to-end responsibilities for developing and maintaining a scalable solution while adhering to best practices.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Supports, maintains and enhances existing applications built on Oracle ERP Technologies.
Performs design activities that requires extensive research and analysis.
Participates in architecture development and implementation.
Assist team of varying skill levels through conceptual and detailed designs for complex development projects.
Mentors and guides other developers in the progression and development of their technical skills.
Works with Oracle Support on Service Requests.
Participates in most aspects of software implementation, upgrades, patches or enhancement for assigned application(s), including configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance activities.
Administers and maintains the assigned application(s). Collaborate with key process owners on the documentation of application defects, enhancements and/or projects.
Configures, tests, deploys, troubleshoots and maintains software with limited oversight as prioritized by the business including creating and updating system documentation and training materials around an application suite.
Gathers and documents business requirements from users to determine the capabilities that need to be delivered. Consult with the users on the priorities, complexities and other impacts of the requirements. Provides time and cost estimates for proposed changes.
Identifies opportunities to deploy existing solutions in other business areas.
Coordinates and communicates development activities with other team members, infrastructure personnel and vendors and communicate to management as appropriate.
Follows defined change control and compliance procedures associated with software development, including all required documentation and governance standards.
Interacts with business users via consulting and training to ensure effective use of technology solutions.

Bachelor’s degree in MIS, computer science, mathematics, other related field preferred or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
8+ years of experience in implementing Oracle EBS Financials and Project Accounting modules. Oracle Cloud ERP experience a plus.
Hands on experience in developing complex RICEFW objects (BI Publisher reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows), and Oracle Alerts.
Experience in developing complex Web ADI templates.
Exposure/experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle Integration Cloud tools.
Experience in development of Application Development Framework (ADF) is preferred.
Experience in the development of Oracle web services preferred.
5+ years developing reports, dashboards, scorecards, etc.
Accounting/Finance background helpful.
Data analytics experience.
Demonstrated work experience in system integration, implementations, source control, and production support.
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
Strong experience in analyzing business needs, detailing requirements, designing solutions and recommending potential changes.
Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments. Able to defuse tension among and between project teams.

Able to analyze data sets, determine quality, and recommend/execute remediation.
Strong Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, MS Project and Visio. Experience with additional management tools a plus.
Demonstrated ability in software development and programming concepts/techniques.
Experienced skill level in all aspects of an application design and development, including high performance design, multi-threaded programming, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.
Knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle methodology and project management concepts.
Strong working knowledge of basic infrastructure concepts and how those concepts are impacted by development activities.
Strong technical expertise in Oracle General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Costing, Project Billing, and Subledger Accounting.
A thorough understanding of Oracle EBS Data Model, Data Model relationships, and ability to design new data model for custom development.
Working knowledge on developing UNIX shell scripts.
Solid knowledge of business events and how they relate to Oracle Workflow.
