michelleDescribe the Type of Work you do?

I provide support to Devon’s IT department and assist the IT Leadership Team with daily operations. As part of my role, I am responsible for the planning and execution of all technology events, and I also serve as Chairman of the Great Place to Work Committee.

What led you to a career in technology?

My career began in Human Resources which led me to Recruiting, specifically IT Recruiting.

What book are you reading right now?

I just finished a book I absolutely loved called Dark Money by Jane Meyer. I’m a big fan of true crime so I just started “Lost Girls” about the Long Island serial killer.

Favorite TV Show(s)? Movie?

TV Show: Big Brother, Walking Dead, Broad City
Movie: All of the Harry Potter’s

What is your favorite App?

Right now, it’s the Nest app. We just bought the Nest camera and it feeds us live video of our two bulldogs. I’ve always wondered what they do all day while we’re away at work!

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I love Star Wars, Harry Potter (I’m a Hufflepuff), Marvel, all things fantasy/Sci-Fi genre. Maybe that’s why I get along so well with IT folks!

If you could have dinner with any 3 people, dead or alive, who would you choose?

JK Rowling, Amy Schumer, and Judy Garland.

If you could change one thing in today’s society, what would it be?

Less hate and judgement, more kindness and acceptance.
