OKWIT is completely funded by sponsorships, memberships, and donations. Through the help of sponsors, we host monthly events, annual student retreats that are free to attendees and chaperones, and have awarded over $30,000 to-date in scholarships.

Gala Sponsors
Our annual OKWIT Gala is the only event in the state of Oklahoma dedicated to celebrating women making a difference in technology. We present our OKWIT Trailblazer award, recognize our scholarship winners, and highlight OKWIT’s accomplishments over the past year. This event includes dinner, dancing and a silent auction to raise funds for our OKWIT scholarship fund.

In-kind donations are also needed for this event, including (but not limited to) raffle prize drawings, silent auction items, floral arrangements, entertainment services, etc. To donate an in-kind item, please contact info@okwit.org.
Event Sponsors
OKWIT is seeking sponsorships for our monthly professional development events, networking happy hours, mentor circles, luncheons, and more. Event sponsors receive logo recognition OKWIT social media, on event marketing materials and verbally at the event. If the event has a ticket charge, event sponsorship may include ticketed entry to the event.

Monthly Event Co-Sponsor: $500+
Mentor Circle Sponsor: $250+
At the request of our members and event attendees, solicitation of products or services at events is limited to our networking social hour events at the cost of $500 per event, and must receive approval from the OKWIT board. Corporate Sponsors can request for in-person representation at an event (<2 minute announcement, giveaway, and/or a table/booth at the event) which will be reviewed as requested.
Scholarship Sponsors
Our scholarships benefit female students in undergraduate and graduate levels of STEM-related courses and programming. Scholarships are awarded during our annual Gala in the fall. To sponsor a scholarship, please email info@okwit.org.
Retreat Sponsors
Our Spring Retreat provides young women (ages 13 +) the unique opportunity to intimately engage with women in tech by touring their workplace and hearing their stories. This retreat takes place in Tulsa and commonly includes tours of IT functions like datacenters and collaborative workspaces at the local host company (Est. attendance: 80+ students).
Our Fall Retreat is our largest event that openly encourages career exploring women and senior high school students to openly explore a possible career in technology. This retreat takes place in Oklahoma City and provides attendees a fun, encouraging environment to hear about local post-high school education options, interact with local female professionals who provide inspiring keynotes, hands-on tech experiences, speed networking sessions, and much more (Estimated attendance: 120+ students).
